Land-Surf testing

Fangs, Platysense and the rest are Land-Surf's inventions. My part has been riding the prototypes while they were still changing and telling Land-Surf what I found, across dozens of iterations.
Fangs at the front of the board
Fangs are the small wheels at the front of a Onewheel, there to let the nose roll when it meets the ground instead of sliding or catching. The versions changed over the years, but the idea stayed recognizable: a pair of little wheels where the board would otherwise scrape.
I believe I was the first person to test Fangs. I'm more certain of the longer part: I kept testing as the product developed, with feedback on durability and design across successive versions.
A platform under my feet
Platysense moved the work from the nose to the footpads: a broad, shaped platform for the rider to stand on, with a sensor in the front pad. A part that meets the ground and a platform under your feet produce very different observations.
By 2022 I was testing Platysense prototypes as part of a relationship that has covered dozens of iterations across Fangs and other products. The job stayed the same throughout: ride the changing prototype and report back on durability and design.

I contributed sustained testing and development feedback. Land-Surf created the products.
