cleaResolution

cleaResolution's opening screen is nearly empty on purpose. A photograph fades in, a short line of script appears, and then the name. Behind it is a practice with services, a founder's story, credentials, client accounts, writing, audio and video. I designed the site and made its graphics at the same time, which is what let two very different scales share one look.
The first screen
The image fills the window in soft greens and blue-greens, and the handwritten lettering sits near the center with a shadow to keep its shape against the photograph. Because I was creating the graphics while building the page, I could judge the lettering, color and image treatment together, and compose that opening image specifically to hold the name.

Everything behind it
Past the introduction, the navigation sorts a lot of material into four groups: the company, services, client accounts and resources. The home page moves through the practice, its service categories and the founder, then client accounts and a step-by-step explanation of how to make a first inquiry. Some of that is short labels and some is long passages, so the spacing changes with the material.
Muted greens, blue-gray and pale backgrounds run throughout, and the handwritten lettering is kept for the name and display type. Each later graphic was made for the spot it sits in, whether that's beside a heading or next to a longer passage. Consultation links come back regularly as you read, and the same identity carries onto a phone.
