Illuminated Letters

One beautiful capital letter is easy to admire. Illuminated Letters is built around the harder thing: complete A–Z and 0–9 sets, where every character has to carry the same treatment. The catalog lets you go from one striking letter to the whole alphabet behind it.
Glass, teak, enamel, stone
The opening mixes letters from different collections. Some borrow from manuscript ornament or stained glass, others from carved wood, enamel, stone, textiles or plants. Each collection has a name that tells you roughly what you're in for, like Iris Glass Garden or Teak, Rigging & Navigation Brass.
You can search by material, subject or mood, filter by theme, or switch from the curated order to alphabetical, whether you came looking for timber or just want to see what turns up.

Across the room and up close
Thumbnails make it easy to browse; larger previews show the borders, marks and material effects. Full alphabet sheets let you see how the letters work together as a collection.
Behind the public catalog I use a separate workbench for inspecting and refining the artwork. The archive is still growing, so every new collection has to be findable, shown as a full set and comfortable next to its neighbors. My part is the catalog, the web integration and the artwork review.
