DevelopmentAI and reliability
Dr. Maximo

Why won't this work order close? In Maximo, the answer can depend on the company's process, the person asking, the installed release and whatever happened before the problem appeared. Dr. Maximo is built to work through those details before it answers. It draws on Maximo work that began for me with barcoding software and continued through years of reports, training and technology leadership at Banetti.
Three people, one work order
Maximo is the system many organizations use to track equipment and plan maintenance. The same question can come from a planner trying to finish a job, an administrator responsible for the system or someone accountable for the equipment itself. Each of them knows a different part of the story, and each needs a different kind of answer.
Training and reporting at Banetti taught me to find out what someone needs before trying to answer. Dr. Maximo is designed around that habit. It gives a person room to describe the problem, works through the details that are missing and heads toward a next step they can act on.
Some questions reach past the software. A conversation about recurring work can turn into a closer look at why that work was scheduled in the first place and whether it still fits how the equipment is used. Dr. Maximo can help with that reliability thinking, and the people who maintain the equipment have the experience to judge the answer.

Sources you can check, for the release you run
When an explanation rests on a document, Dr. Maximo shows the source. The reader can check it, and can take it to a colleague to ask whether it matches their own setup.
It also pays attention to versions. Guidance that is correct for one Maximo release can be wrong for another, so the release belongs in the question from the start.
Questions differ in how much work they deserve. A configuration detail may need a short answer. Integrations and upgrades usually call for more involved research, and the application treats them that way.
Reading the system, changing nothing
Dr. Maximo runs as a web application. I'm working on bringing approved Maximo information into the conversation, and the connections in place today only read data. They don't change the business records behind it. Maintenance decisions and system changes stay with the team.
My part covers product development, the AI integration and the explanations of Maximo and reliability concepts, including the public site that describes how the product approaches them.
