Tiny AI Arcade

Tiny AI Arcade is where I try ideas small enough to finish: fifteen games and twelve practical tools, all sharing one locally running model. The worlds range from a manor and a dungeon to terminal screens and trading decisions. I used generated artwork for part of the visual direction, then built the boards, controls and rules around it. The design question that kept coming back was how much each game should let the model decide.

Ask a suspect about the clue you found
Mystery Mansion is a detective game, and an AI suspect who can blurt out the solution ruins it. So the conversations are built around the evidence the player has actually discovered. Finding a clue gives the suspect something new to respond to.
The dialogue varies from one exchange to the next, but the clues mean what the game says they mean, and the final accusation belongs to the player.
The dungeon keeps its own score
Pocket Dungeon gives the model a much smaller part. The game decides movement, combat, loot and endings. After something happens, the model adds a line or two of narration to give the moment some character. It describes the fight and has no say in who wins it.
A hint that stops short
Riddle Vault needs a different kind of restraint. A good hint nudges someone's thinking and leaves the solution for them to find. Generated hints are checked for giving away too much, and when one does, the game falls back to a hint I wrote.
Replies that arrive late
A local model sometimes takes a while, and in the meantime the player may have moved to another room or started a new round. I added checks to keep a late reply from turning up in a scene the player has already left.
Presentation matters as well. A terminal message, a radio transmission and a character's speech each need to look at home in their own game, so the model's output takes the form of the world it appears in.
I built the game interfaces, visual worlds and AI interactions, including how replies arrive without interrupting play.
